ANAS Nakhchivan Department hosted presentation of art translation of the book "Naqshi Jahan Nakhchivan" by research assistant of Department Elkhan Yurdoglu-Mammadov.

At the event, chairman of the Department, Academician Ismayil Hajiyev spoke about the importance of publication and noted that it is a valuable contribution to our history. He added that a sample of poems, collected in the book and translated into Turkish is directly linked with Nakhchivan. It is indicator of affection and love of Nakhchivan poets to their region.

Then, Deputy Director of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, PhD in History Firuddin Rzayev delivered the paper on "Integration of the history and culture of Nakhchivan to the Turkic world in "Naqshi Jahan Nakhchivan" book. It was noted that, the book "Naqshi Jahan Nakhchivan" is not the first work by Elkhan Yurdoglu in translation.Translations of the works, included in the book in Turkish are of great importance in terms of bringing up future generations of construction and evolution taking place in Nakhchivan.

Acted on the presentation ceremony, teacher of Nakhchivan State University, Doctor of Philology Hussein Hashimli and researcher of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of the Department Nargiz Ismayilova shared their opinions about the book and highly appreciated the new edition.
