Owing to the use of organic cathode researchers from the United States, managed gradually increase the density of energy. Elaboration will be the main for safe and low-cost accumulators.

Hard sodium-ion batteries are much safer than lithium-ionic ones, but their productivity is set at the best. The researchers from the Houston University were called to improve this problem.

As Science Daily reported, the team has achieved a much higher CUA by using the organic cathode from pyrene-4,5,9,10 tetraone. That cathode is deformed, cracking and expanding during the cycle of charge-discharging, thanks to which it relies on a close contact with the hard electrolyte.

The experiments showed that the contact stabilizes at about 200 cycles.
