In order to increase the efficiency of activity of the Central Scientific Library of ANAS (CSL) in the framework of structural reforms created Department of International and Public Relations (DIPR). The activities of the new department are governed by Board approved CSL "Regulations" and "duties".

The activities of the new department are governed of "Regulations" and "Job duties" approved by CSL Board.

Note that, according to the decree of the Presidium of ANAS dated 21 January 2015 were approved new charter and structure of the Central Scientific Library. From that day DIPR launched its activities. The new department carries out its activities through close cooperation with structural subdivisions of CSL.

From the very beginning of its activities in order to inform the general public about the activities of CSL Department is establishing close ties of cooperation with the press and the media provides complete operational information. For this, in three languages to the users presented a constantly updated website www.mek.az and pages on the social networks as Facebook, Twitter and others. DIPR duties also include the establishment of international relations, initiative and organization of various events.

Thus, the newly established department carries out targeted activities in the field of the further expansion of library activity and resource management.
