Wiki-Center, established at ANAS Institute of Information Technology hosted regular training courses on "Theoretical and practical bases of the Wikipedia encyclopedia" organized for the wiki group of scientific institutions and organizations on June 20-July 10.

At the courses were attended by 38 staff members from 10 of scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS. For course participants lectures and seminars on the problems and prospects of Wikipedia were organized, the basic principles, common rules for the creation of encyclopedia articles, their structuring and monitoring templates and rules of their use, the rules of the use of sources, downloading of multimedia resources, copyright and ways of resolving conflicts in the wiki - environment.

On July 14 in order testing the knowledge of the course participants were held exam, which completed successfully. Completing the course will be given certificates.

Considering the large number of employees of institutions and organizations of ANAS, wishing to take part in training courses is planned to conduct the next course in September 2016.

In addition, in the near future provides carrying out of appropriate training courses for the wiki group of scientific institutions and organizations of Nakhchivan and Ganja departments of ANAS.
