Employees of the Institute of Management, Institute of Physics, Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Institute of Geography, Institute of Genetic Resources, Institute of Geology and Geophysics and Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory have been trained in foreign countries.

Scholars took part in scholarship programs, trainings, various projects implemented in the US, Germany, France, Taiwan, Poland and Turkey.

President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh met with young researchers who have been trained abroad.

The head of Academy said that, the purpose of sending young scientists to foreign countries is to increase their knowledge and skills, to study the experience of foreign countries in the relevant fields. Along with the creation of conditions for applying the acquired knowledge in their scientific research, organized trips will also accelerate the integration of Azerbaijani science into the international community will make an important contribution to the country's science.

A.Alizadeh noted that, youth policy is one of the priority spheres in Azerbaijan, to which the state attaches great importance. The academician stressed that the President of the country, Ilham Aliyev, pays special attention to the issue of stimulating the activity of young scientists, enhancing their role in the development of Azerbaijani science. The necessary measures are taken to achieve significant success for Azerbaijani youth in all spheres of public life, as well as science.

Then, President of ANAS gave his recommendations to young scientists and wished them new successes in the way of scientific progress. He called on young people to make joint efforts to establish cooperation between ANAS and foreign scientific institutions, exchange experience and personnel.

In conclusion, the young researchers expressed gratitude to the leadership of ANAS for the conditions, care and attention that he created.

The meeting was also attended by vice-presidents of ANAS, academicians Dilgam Tagiyev, Ibrahim Guliyev, as well as heads of departments of the Presidium staff and directors of relevant institutions and institutions.
