On June 21, the presentation of the web-site of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry named after Academician Murtuza Nagiyev of ANAS was held at the Presidium of ANAS. The event was attended by Academician-Secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technology, Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Chemical Sciences of ANAS, director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Academician Dilgam Tagiyev, the responsible persons and staff of the Institute of Information Technology and the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS.

Speaking about the rapid application of high technologies in recent years in ANAS, Academician R.Alguliyev stressed that the academy leadership attaches great importance to high-level organization of the web sites of scientific institutions. The scientist noted that the Monitoring Group established to enhance the effectiveness of web-sites of institutions and regular monitoring of organizations working at the Academy. He brought to the attention, that today the web sites of scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS are of particular importance in the comprehensive coverage of the innovations taking place in the domestic science, and through these sites quickly passed all the information on the activities of our scientists.

Noting that one of the most important issues when creating a website is to meet established international sites, technological, legal and corporate requirements, academician referred to the need of compliance of websites of state structures these requirements. In his speech, Academician R.Alguliyev reported that created by the responsible persons of the Institute of Information Technology Institute, the website of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS, meets all the requirements, and noted that there are featuring the latest technological innovations.

R.Alguliyev emphasized that the structure headed by him will always provide technological support to the website of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS.

Then the head of the department of the Institute of Information TechnologyGulnara Nabibeyova presenting site www.kqkiamea.az by Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS, noted that the main goal in creating a website is broader communication to the public of the country and the world of information about the activities of the institute.

G.Nabibayova noted that, web-site located in Data Center of AzScienceNet science-computer network meets the terms of web-sites of ANAS institutes and organizations from the requirements of the design, structure, used technologies and safety.

Later, a lecturer informed about the structure of the website in 3 languages (Azerbaijani, Russian and English) on sections "About the institute", "News", "Scientific Activity", "Councils", "International cooperation", "Periodicals" and in other sections, including reflection of the most important events at the institute on sections "Photo Gallery" and "Video gallery". Chief department drew attention to the "Important Links", and links to the web-sites of social networks and journals of the institute at the website with a simple and advanced search system. According to her, counter installed in web-resource will allow to get information on the dynamics of appeals over the years, and on geography of applications.

The responsible persons, appointed to the administration of the web-site, have been probated training course at the Institute of Information Technology, adopted necessary knowledge on the management of sites, noted G.Nabibeyova. Then, Academician Dilgam Tagiyev stated that, each web-site is the face of a research institution, by noting promoting role of web-resources of the institutions in science popularization. He expressed his gratitude to the staff of the Institute of Information Technology for their support in creation of the website of institute led by him.
