Chemists from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology developed the "ink" for a 3D printer that allows printing products from pure and transparent quartz glass with a fairly good resolution of tens of micrometers. The new technology will allow the production of quartz laboratory microware and elements of optical circuits, as well as create individual and unique glass products that are difficult or even impossible to produce with the help of ordinary glass-blowing technologies.
