On 12 February “Open door” day was held for pupils of “White city” branch of Kaspi School in Academician Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry. It should be noted that in ANAS providing integration of science and education, improvement of staff preparation according to modern standards, application of results of scientific-research works in education process are main duties before ANAS.

From this point the aim of such events is to form scientific outlook, to increase an interest in them to chemistry. Within the event pupils were acquainted with different laboratories, modern devices and equipment, they were provided an information about them. Scientists and young specialists of the institute gave detailed informatio about research works, their practical importance, application prospectives to pupils.

Besides, pupils were given information about life and scientific activities of outstanding scientists who worked and presently work in the institute.
