Today, the meeting of Scientific Council was held in the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS. Academician Dilgam Taghiyev, acting vice-president of ANAS, director of the institute opened the meeting. Academician introduced the agenda to the members of the Scientific Council. The first task was the approval of plan of research works and working plans of the laboratories of the Institute for 2017. Academician Dilgam Taghiyev stated that research works on three-year topics of this year have been already completed and reports will be listened in June. Later, topics of candidates for a degree accepted to doctor of sciences and PhD training was widely discussed and approved. Academician Dilgam Taghiyev gave his proposals and recommendations on both issues. Drawing attention to the issues undertaken by the President Ilham Aliyev before chemists in 70^th jubilee of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences academician Dilgam Taghiyev stated that in research works proposed for the next 3 years the works which will be promising and profitable for the economy of republic must be preferred.

Then academician Dilgam Taghiyev said that on June the conference dedicated to 110th anniversary of the member of AAS Heydar Efendiyev, but on November the conference dedicated to 90^th jubilee of Khudu Mammadov will be held. In this regard Organizing Committee must be established to fulfill the works on the conferences in time.  Scientific Council made a decision on the establishment of the Organizing Committee of both conferences. At the end voting was held to give the academic rank – assistant professor to some employment of the institute and adopted a decision on petition before the Supreme Attestation Commission.
