Today, a regular meeting of Scientific Council of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry has been carried out. The meeting was opened by academician – secretary of chemical sciences department of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Dilgam Tagiyev.The academician acquainted the members of Scientific Council with the agenda.The individual working plans and scientific leaders of the entered magisters this year on speciality “ Inorganic Chemistry ” have been confirmed. Academician Dilgam Tagiyev noticed, that both last year and present year the youth entering the magistracy of the institute, gathered high marks. Further, there has been listened a report about financed and completed projects of SOCAR´s Scientific Fund.Then, the leaders of projects: corresponding – member, Prof. A. Medjidov, Prof. M. Babanly, Prof. G. Kelbaliyev, Doctor in chemistry, Prof. G. Suleymanov and Doctor in chemistry L. Gasanova addressed the meeting with reports about the carried out projects, reflecting the total of scientific – research works and the published scientific papers.There was a wide discussion around the reports and it was made a decision about preparation of reports and their presentation to the Department of Chemical Sciences.Later, academician Dilgam Tagiyev spoke about the carried out works in connection with preparation to the 80-th anniversary of the Institute.The academician noticed, that the conference devoted to the 80-th jubilee of the Institute will be held on November 15-16 and all the works, connecting with preparation to that event will be done in time.
