Academician-Secretary of ANAS Division of Chemical Sciences director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry Academician Dilgam Taghiyev and Head of the Laboratory nano-electrochemistry and electro catalysis of the same institute, Prof. Akif Aliyev participated in an international conference in Georgia.

The purpose of the trip was to participate as a member of the Organizing Committee and author of the international conference "Modern research and prospects of their use in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, and others" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Electrochemistry named R.Agladze.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the conference Academician Dilgam Tagiyev spoke about the links between scientific institutions of both countries, held a broad exchange of views in connection with the development of scientific ties in promising areas.

At the event were discussed actual problems of modern chemistry, as well as research conducted in the field of electrochemistry and catalysis.

At the conference, President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Academician Georgi Kvesitadze Academician Dilgam Tagiyev and director of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Electrochemistry named R.Agladze Giorgi Tatishvili discussed prospects of scientific cooperation.
