The problems of mass transfer, heat transfer and hydrodynamics in dispersed media are considered and analyzed. In this regard, questions related to mass and heat transfer, to the determination of molecular and turbulent diffusion coefficients, mass transfer and mass transfer coefficients, heat transfer in laminar and turbulent flows, in aggregative and sedimentation unstable systems are described in more detail. The problems associated with mass transfer in a gravitational field are considered and form the basis of such processes as deposition and separation, dispersion and coalescence. A lot of experimental data, examples and applications for calculating mass transfer processes are presented. The problems of stochastic modeling of disperse systems related to the Focker-Planck equation and the kinetic Boltzmann equation are considered.

The book is of interest to specialists involved in mass transfer, heat transfer and hydrodynamics in dispersed media, transport phenomena in chemical technology, processes and apparatuses of chemical technology, development and design of heat and mass transfer processes, and will also be useful for students, undergraduates, post-graduate students and technological engineers.
