The Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has announced an international grant competition for the "Turkic World Researches".

Within the framework of the competition, two sub-contests is intended: 1st Azerbaijan-Turkey (“AzTurk-1”) international grant competition (jointly organized by the Science Development Fund and the Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK)) and " Azerbaijan and Turkic World"research grant competition (organized by the Science Development Foundation).

The 1st Azerbaijan-Turkey (“AzTurk-1”) International Grant Competition aims to support joint research projects provided by scholars and professionals from Azerbaijan and Turkey through the Science Development Fund and TUBITAK's joint grants, facilitating the implementation of these research in the economy, new opportunities for cooperation, exchange of scientific experiences and skills, and the use of them in solving scientific problems.

Funding will be funded by fundamental, applied, experimental, academic, empirical, innovative, theoretical and up to 400,000 manats.

Fundamental, applied, experimental, academic, empirical, innovative, theoretical projects and up to 200,000 manats will be funded.

Grant projects for both sub-competition will be accepted from 1 November 2018 until 17 January 31 January 2019 to participate in the competition. The results of the sub-competition "AzTurk-1" in the second half of 2019, and the results of the sub-competition "Azerbaijan and Turkish World" will be announced in the first half of 2019.
